Information we collect

When you use RepairVega, we may collect: a description of a home issue; a confirmed service category and urgency; ZIP or market; name, email, and phone number; optional SMS consent and the mobile number used for texts; provider application details such as business name, service categories, service area, and credential-related information; account email, a password hash (not the password), and optional name; and technical data such as session cookies needed to keep you signed in.

How we use information

We use this information to create and administer service requests, match homeowners with providers, send transactional status communications, review provider applications, operate accounts, and improve platform safety. Homeowner-confirmed category and urgency remain authoritative when Vega suggests a classification.

SMS / Text messaging

If you affirmatively opt in, RepairVega LLC may use your phone number and SMS consent information to provide transactional text messages about RepairVega service requests, provider matching, scheduling, request status, and related service activity. Entering a phone number or submitting a request is not SMS consent. SMS is optional and is not used for promotional or marketing campaigns.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Terms of Service

Transactional email

RepairVega may send transactional email (request received, provider opportunity, scheduling, account claim, and operational alerts) through a configured email provider such as Resend.

AI-assisted classification

If Vega is enabled by operators, a sanitized description may be sent to a configured model provider to suggest a category and urgency. Vega is disabled unless explicitly configured.

Third-party processors

Depending on production configuration, processors may include the application host, the PostgreSQL database host, the email provider, an SMS provider such as Twilio when SMS is enabled, and an AI model provider. These parties process information to operate the service. They are not authorized to use SMS opt-in data for their own marketing.

Security and contact

Use the support contact published on https://www.repairvega.com/ for privacy questions directed to RepairVega LLC. Do not send passwords or secure tokens to that address.
